The Dalian Government has announced their intention to send over 1000 officials to be trained in Singapore. The Dalian Government signed an agreement with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) to send 5 delegations for training in Singapore. Civil Service College has been commissioned by SCE to run 4 programmes for the Dalian Officials. The first delegation was in Singapore from 15 to 28 September 2007 for a Study Visit on Urban Planning. The training included classroom-based lectures and learning journeys where the delegates were immersed in the local environment for experiential learning.
