The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Civil Service College (CSC) jointly organised the Senior Chinese Officials (SCO) Study Visit Programme 3 times every year. The objectives of this programme are (i) to promote institutional linkages between Singapore and China, and (ii) to enhance the visiting officials’ understanding of Singapore’s political development, social development, economic development and human capital development. This is a national effort in promoting World.Singapore - exporting of public sector governance, whole-of-government and national branding of Singapore overseas.
The 35th SCO programme was held from 14 to 24 August 2007 in Singapore. The Chinese delegation comprises senior officials from Hong Kong and Macau.
